Robert Hannigan

Robert Hannigan was Director of GCHQ, the UK government’s largest intelligence and cyber agency, from 2014-17. Hannigan has a long history of involvement in cyber security and technology, having drawn up the UK’s first Cyber Security Strategy and outlined the government’s ambition of making the UK ‘the safest place to live and do business online’. He set up the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre as part of GCHQ, which was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth in 2017, and launched the active cyber defence programme for the UK in 2016.

Dr Hannah Fry

Dr Hannah Fry is a lecturer in the Mathematics of Cities at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL. She works alongside a unique mix of physicists, mathematicians, computer scientists, architects and geographers to study the patterns in human behaviour - particularly in an urban setting. Her research applies to a wide range of social problems and questions, from shopping and transport to urban crime, riots and terrorism.

Alongside her academic position, Hannah is an experienced public speaker giving conference keynotes and taking the joy of maths into theatres and schools. Hannah’s mathematical expertise has led to the development of fascinating documentaries including ‘Britain’s Greatest Invention ’, ‘Horizon: How to Find Love Online’, ‘Horizon: 10 Things You Need to Know About the Future’, ‘City in the Sky’ (BBC2), ‘Trainspotting Live’, ‘The Joy of Data’, ‘Climate Change By Numbers’ and ‘Calculating Ada: The Countess of Computing’ (BBC4). For radio, Hannah presents ‘Music By Numbers’ (BBC R1), ‘The Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry’ and ‘Computing Britain’ (BBC R4).

As an author, Hannah has written two books: ‘The Indisputable Existence of Santa Claus: The Mathematics of Christmas’ (Transworld, 2016) which followed ‘The Mathematics of Love: Patterns, Proofs, and the Search for the Ultimate Equation’ (Simon & Schuster/ Ted, Feb 2015) in which Hannah brings together mathematical equations to provide answers to such questions as: What’s the chance of us finding love? What's the chance that it will last? How does online dating work, exactly? When should you settle down? How can you avoid divorce? When is it right to compromise? Can game theory help us decide whether or not to call?

Bennett Arron is an award-winning writer, stand up comedian, author and TV presenter. He is also a world renowned Speaker on the subject of Identity Theft

Bennett has performed all around the UK as well as in Italy, Australia, Germany, Poland, Amsterdam, South Africa and Hong Kong.

He has written and starred in two radios series: Bennett Arron is Jewelsh - which was nominated for a Celtic Media Award and the recently aired Bennett Arron Worries About…. He also presented the documentary The Kosher Comedian for the BBC. 

His other television and radio credits include; Loose EndsNot Tonight With John SergeantGlee Time (inwhich he hosted a series of six stand-up comedy shows), Never Write Off The Germans (a panel show for Radio 2) three series of What’s The Story (a panel show for Radio Wales) and he was a Presenter on Big Brother's Little Brother for Channel 4. 
Bennett  has written for many comedy programmes, including Hit The Road JackOff Their Rockers, Commercial Breakdown and the BAFTA winning V Graham Norton. He also wrote over twenty episodes of Genie in The House, the highest-rated children's sitcom on Nickelodeon and he was one of the main writers on the BAFTA winning Slammer for the BBC.

Bennett directed and presented the programme How To Steal an Identity in which he stole the identity of the Home Secretary. The programme was Pick of the Day in The Guardian and The Telegraph, described as “Fascinating and Disturbing” by the TV Times, and went on to be short-listed for a BAFTA.

He has written 2 books, "The Girl From The Discotheque" and "Heard the one about Identity Theft?"

Bennett is a past winner of both the TAPS Comedy Writer of the Year Award and the BBC New Writer's Award, and is a past finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards. However his proudest moment was coming third in an International Disco Dancing Championship in Tenerife.

With over fifteen years’ experience working within the UK’s specialist military units and Government environments, David is one of the best trained government cyber experts and through his business, Senseon has developed the most comprehensive, fully integrated cyber defence system available for businesses and government.

He has developed a range of specialist capabilities for cyber operations and information security challenges at both the strategic and operational level of both government and specialist military units. Indicative of his operational and technical expertise, David was responsible for the design and delivery of specialist military cyber operations courses and the development of innovative technology to support a range of challenging operational requirements.

David has conducted a range of command appointments requiring deep technical liaison and leadership within both multi-national and multi-agency environments to assure the delivery of key cyber projects and operations in complex environments. In his final role, David planned and managed a range of cyber operations, provided briefings on cyber defence to the highest level of the UK military and developed a future integration strategy for the employment of specialist cyber techniques.
